Ceterach officinarum in a wall
Ceterach officinarum is a very common small fern found in rock crevices and stone walls. Its English name is Rusty
Back, because of the reddish-brown hairs on the underside of
the leaves.
It is drought resistant and will curl its fronds inwards so that only the brownish surface is visible.
