Chrysanthemum coronarium is sometimes named Glebionis coronaria. It is a very common flower which comes in two colours: the var. coronaria has yellow ray florets and the var. discolor whith white ray florets that become yellow towards the base.
Both are found between sea level and around 500m altitude in anthropized habitats : fields, olive groves, near villages. This large flower can reach up to one meter. The stems are edible. Chrysanthemum coronarium flowers from March to May
