Iberis sempervirens is quite a rare flower of the mountains of Crete (and one or two places on the mainland of Greece). This perenial small shrub with a multitude of tiny white flowers grows in scree and crevices at altitudes between 1800 and 2000m (here near Roussies at 2000 m) using the protection of other low shrubs and flowers in summer.
